In this position, Armstrong is responsible for the strategic and operational management of World Omni, a diversified financial services company, providing a broad range of financial services to consumers, dealers and lenders. Armstrong also serves as a member of the Executive Management Team of JM Family, which oversees the development and implementation of the company's long-range planning and strategies for future growth.
World Omni has a significant presence in the automotive financial services arena. The company has maintained its Standard & Poor's STRONG auto servicer rating since 2004, the highest possible for a consumer finance, automobile loan and lease servicer. Ann Bybee is Corporate Manager - Corporate Planning and Communications for Toyota Financial Services.
Bybee oversees the development of mid to long-term strategy for the company, including strategic research, competitive intelligence, business planning - corporate scorecards, public relations, government affairs, internal communications and corporate social responsibility. She reports to Dave Pelliccioni, Senior Vice President, and Chief Administrative Officer.
Bybee leads the company's drive towards becoming a more deliberate and focused organization. She has implemented the development of a rolling five-year plan for each line of business to better inform the five-year financial plan. She is also an executive sponsor for GALA (Gay, Lesbian, Transgender and Bisexual), a business partnering group at Toyota.
Bybee currently serves on the American Financial Service Association's (AFSA) Vehicle Finance Board, along with the planning committee, as well as on AFSA's Education Foundation Endowment Committee to further financial literacy.
Bybee joined Toyota in 1990 starting with Toyota Motor Sales, USA as a member of the Long Range Market Planning group. She has since served the company in several managerial roles in both Product Planning and Corporate Planning areas. In 1999, she was selected to be part of an international management development program and moved to Tokyo, Japan to serve as the Chief Brand Strategist and oversee global ad campaigns for Toyota Motor Corporation. In 2001, Bybee returned to the U.S. as Corporate Manager for Lexus Advertising and Brand Strategy. She remained at Lexus for five years, overseeing the national and dealer advertising, media, brand renewal, managing incentives and product positioning, resulting in record sales for all five years for the luxury division.
Prior to joining Toyota Motor Sales, Bybee was employed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration as an International Economist. During that time she participated in the Uruguay Round of GATT which resulted in the expansion of NAFTA to include Mexico.

Tony Dupaquier

As Director of F&I Training for American Financial & Automotive Services, Inc.'s Automotive Training Academy, Tony is responsible for the content, direction and marketing for the F&I training curriculum. Tony conducts various F&I workshops throughout the year in locations nationwide.
Tony earned a Communications degree from Sam Houston State University prior to beginning his retail automotive career in 1990 as a salesperson in Houston, TX. Before joining the American Financial team in 2000, Tony held the positions of Salesperson, Business Manager, Fleet Sales Manager, Sales Manager, and General Manager.
Throughout his retail sales career, Tony was consistently a top producer as well as a multi-year recipient of numerous manufacturer awards. In 1995, Tony earned the prestigious title of Nissan National Walk-Around Champion.
As a member of the Automotive Training Academy team, Tony has presented to various 20 groups, state and national dealer associations, and was featured as a workshop presenter at the 2009 NADA Convention in New Orleans, LA.

Donald M. Ferguson

Donald M. Ferguson is GMAC director of Corporate Relations & SmartEdge. Ferguson oversees the corporation's development and implementations of SmartEdge, GMAC's financial literacy program and coordinates relationship marketing activities with a number of national and local organizations.
Ferguson, 58, began his GMAC career in 1978 as a field representative in Richmond, Va. He was promoted to credit representative the following year. In 1980, he relocated to New York after being named credit supervisor in Hartsdale.
Ferguson served as truck and equipment manager in Westchester, N.Y., until his promotion to staff assistant at the GMAC Executive Office in Detroit in 1988. Two years later, he became assistant control branch manager in Boston. He was then named branch manager in Brockton, Mass.
In 1994, Ferguson returned to Detroit as a senior staff assistant and director of Sales. In 1996, he was promoted to area manager in Columbus, Ohio, a job he held for more than seven years before being named to his current position in January 2004.
Born Jan. 29, 1953, in Richmond, Va., Ferguson earned his bachelor of science in Mathematics from Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va., and completed the executive education program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), 100 Black Men of America, the American Financial Services Association (AFSA), and the National Society of Pershing Rifles. He is also on the Money Smart Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (Detroit branch).

Harry Goff

Harry was named Chairman & CEO of CitiFinancial North America in July 2006. He was responsible for the operation of 2200 consumer finance branches in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. He managed 15,000 employees producing over $1.2 billion in after-tax profits while improving operating controls and compliance.
From 2004 to 2006, he served as President and CEO of CitiFinancial Mortgage Company, where he was responsible for the integration of Associates Home Equity Services and CitiFinancial Mortgage. Harry installed code of ethics requirement for all broker and correspondent lenders, resulting in the termination of more than 4,000 relationships. He improved compliance in all purchase documentation resulting in improve audit performance while increasing profitability of all relationships. Delinquency and losses were reduced ultimately increasing profit to $600 million after tax. He also maintained responsibility for Travelers Bank and Trust fsb (TB &T).
As President and CEO of (TB &T) from 1998 - 2004, Harry was responsible for mortgage lending and private label credit card operations of the newly formed federal savings bank. The bank receivables grew to over $5 billion while achieving satisfactory ratings from the Office of Thrift Supervision. The bank had operations in all 50 states with major relationships with Primerica Financial Services and 20 major retailers.
Harry served as the 2006-2007 Chairman of the American Financial Services Association (AFSA), an organization that represents more 3000 financial firms involved in vehicle finance, mortgage lending, consumer lending and credit cards. He also served on AFSA's Board of Directors from 2000 until he was elected Chairman in 2006.
Currently, Harry serves as Chairman of the American Financial Services Association Education Foundation. The foundation's primary initiative is MoneySKILL®, a free online comprehensive personal finance curriculum designed to improve high school and college students' financial literacy. The foundation also provides consumer information on mortgage loans, vehicle financing, credit, personal loans and money management to the public.

Currently, George is the Auto Finance Program Director for BenchMark Consulting International - an Associate Member of AFSA. At BenchMark, were he led the most recent Auto Finance Benchmark Studies, he continues to lead numerous individual engagements. He spearheaded the development and launch of the next-generation competitive business intelligence program, C-PuLsE and remains continually engaged in consulting and management support activities for the auto finance industry.
George holds a BS in Physics from Penn State and an MS in Management from the University of Southern California. After graduating from Penn State, he accepted a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps. From there, he went to USC, and then joined Ford Credit in Dearborn, Michigan.
At Ford Credit, George served as Vice President of Global Strategic Planning where he directed strategy and planning, business intelligence, and business development and restructuring. He spearheaded an evolution toward a new business model focused on auto loan origination and servicing supported by innovative funding structures.
George managed seven Northern European financing operations from the Regional Headquarters in Amsterdam. As Executive Director of Ford Credit Europe, George centralized European marketing activities (previously conducted at country level) and developed a project management system now used worldwide at Ford and Ford Credit. He directly managed IT, marketing, education and training, insurance, project/program management, and full-service leasing. He also matrix managed all sales operations activities for 23 national markets.
George has been involved in leadership positions within AFSA for many years. He served as a member of AFSA's Executive Committee and Board of Directors and continues to serve on the AFSA Vehicle Finance Board.
He was a key driver in the development of the 2003 AFSA strategic plan that led to the association's increased fiscal health. He was a founding committee member of Americans Well-informed on Automobile Retailing Economics (AWARE) and helped to spearhead the AFSA initiative on standards for electronic contracting that resulted in the ANSI standard for the transfer of location of electronic contracts finalized this year.
He regularly presents at industry conferences and seminars, and serves on the planning committee that develops and leads the program for the AFSA Vehicle Finance Conference. In October 2008, George was awarded AFSA's highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award (DSA).

A veteran of more than 300 presentations to audiences ranging from a dozen senior managers

of the signature annual “TRU Presentation,” Scott is uniquely able to translate qual and quant

Bill Himpler is the American Financial Services Association's (AFSA) Executive Vice President for Federal Affairs. Bill came to AFSA from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development where he headed the congressional relations office. Prior to joining HUD in 2002, Himpler was director of legislative affairs for Barbour Griffith & Rogers, Inc. and was tax counsel/legislative director for Rep. Jerry Weller (R-IL). He has also served as a senior legislative assistant with Rep. Charles Canady (R-FL) and was a policy analyst and press secretary for the House Republican Study Committee.

Karen Ideno

Karen Ideno is the Chief Marketing Officer for Toyota Financial Services (TFS).
Ideno oversees the Marketing, Market Planning, Brand and Loyalty departments. Ideno began her career with TFS in 1988 and has held various management positions including Marketing Manager and National Marketing Manager. She was instrumental in developing and growing the Marketing department through initiatives such as the launch of the TFS brand, various product launches, Scion Solutions and the Consumer Portal. In 2006, Ideno was appointed National Manager, Corporate Communications. She and her team significantly expanded and improved the company's internal communications, media relations and philanthropic endeavors. In 2007, the California State Senate recognized her role in expanding TFS' charitable activities, particularly in "Making Life Easier" for the youth of the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Los Angeles.

Tom Kontos is Executive Vice President, Customer Strategies and Analytics with ADESA Auctions. In this position, Mr. Kontos interfaces with key ADESA clients and dealers, Wall Street and automotive analysts, and members of the media to provide information and insight on economic trends in the vehicle remarketing industry, of which ADESA is a major player. Mr. Kontos also provides analytical services in the form of annual market reports, periodic reports on used vehicle price trends, web-based information products (www.adesa.com/KontosKorner), dealer surveys, and other strategic studies. He delivers these services and products for both ADESA's used vehicle and salvage businesses (through ADESA's sister company, Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc.), and plays an integral role in developing remarketing strategies with ADESA customers, including the large dealer groups.
Mr. Kontos is the author of Global Vehicle Remarketing (GVR) and Pulse, which provide comprehensive analysis of strategic trends and issues relating to the 40-million-unit used vehicle market and the $83 billion vehicle remarketing industry in North America. These publications have been extremely well received by the automotive industry, often cited in the trade press, and honored with the prestigious APEX and Keystone awards for excellence in investment and financial materials. Mike McConnell is vice president of sales, financial products and corporate planning for Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA). He is responsible for managing sales and marketing functions for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) and Infiniti Financial Services (IFS), as well as managing the corporate planning office.
Previously, McConnell served regional vice president, NNA Mid-Atlantic region, responsible for managing all regional operations, including sales, marketing, fixed operations, administration and consumer affairs for the Mid-Atlantic states. Prior to his RVP position, McConnell served as the director of sales for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC), senior regional financial services manager for the Mid-Atlantic region and regional field operations manager for the Southeast region, among several other positions.
McConnell has been with Nissan since he graduated from West Georgia College in 1985, where he received his bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.

John Noone is president, Ford Motor Credit Global Marketing and Sales with responsibility for sales, marketing and brand. He continues to have senior management responsibility for operations in the company's Asia-Pacific & Africa, Europe and Latin America business units, as he did in his previous position of president, Ford Motor Credit Company International.
Noone formerly served as executive vice president of North America Diversified and Major Accounts, Ford Financial. He has served as manager, Consumer Loan Operations and Services, International Financing Operations; executive director of Finance and Planning in Europe; regional manager of the Southwest and Northeast regions; and as senior vice president for the Eastern U.S. and Canada. He is on the boards of Ford Motor Credit Company, FCE Bank and several other international affiliates. He joined Ford Motor Credit Company in 1972.
Noone earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and a law degree from the University of Detroit. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association. Noone serves on the finance committee and board of directors of Lourdes, Inc., a non-profit health services company in Waterford, Mich.
Noone serves as a member of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Vehicle Finance Board of the American Financial Services Association.

Christopher Stinebert
 Chris Stinebert is president and chief executive officer of the American Financial Services Association (AFSA), a national, Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing 350 financial services firms and their 10,000 branch offices. These member companies provide over $360 billion in credit to consumers and small businesses each year. Founded in 1916, AFSA has a broad membership, including mortgage & home equity lenders, vehicle finance, credit card issuers, and consumer finance providers. Although diverse, AFSA's membership is united by its goal of serving the credit needs of consumers and businesses.
The financial services industry is highly regulated at both the federal and state levels. Therefore, government affairs and advocacy—legislative, regulatory and judicial—are major association activities. AFSA also focuses on professional development through conferences & expositions, investor forums, and management development programs at the University of North Carolina and Marquette University.
Mr. Stinebert joined AFSA on November 1, 2006. Previously he served as president and chief executive officer of the Arlington, VA-based Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI), which represents the interests of manufacturers, lenders, and communities that produce, sell, finance and purchase factory built homes. Prior to joining MHI in 1998, he was president and chief executive officer of the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) based in Herndon, VA.
Mr. Stinebert has 30 years of knowledge and experience in managing national trade associations with key highlights in government affairs and advocacy; strategic planning and implementation; technical standards and regulations; and economic and statistical data collection.
A graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA, Mr. Stinebert currently serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Committee of 100 which is comprised of 100 CEOs of leading trade associations.
Paul Taylor

American Truck Dealers (ATD).
Dr. Taylor has previously served as Senior Economist for financial trade associations and for Congress' Joint Economic Committee, and as a Financial Analyst for the U.S. International Trade Commission. Paul holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Tech. Dr. Taylor has published both scholarly and general interest articles in finance and economics, and is widely quoted in national newspapers and business publications. Dr. Taylor's doctoral research was conducted under the direction of the 1986 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Professor James M. Buchanan. Earlier in his career, Paul taught on the graduate faculty at the University of Rochester's Graduate School of Management, American University and Virginia Tech.
Dr. Taylor has a family history in the retail auto industry, as his grandfather was a long time Ford and American Motors dealer in Warrenton, Virginia.

Edward C. "Ed" Tonkin, vice president of Ron Tonkin Dealerships, Portland, Oregon, represents Oregon's franchised new-car dealers on the association's board of directors.
A new car-dealer since 1981, Tonkin became a member of the National Automobile Dealers Association in 1981. He is currently the association's chairman of the Regulatory Affairs Committee and Hyundai chairman for the Industry Relations Committee. He is also co-chair for the Oregon Automobile Dealers Association's Workers Compensation Committee. Previously, Tonkin was a member of NADA Project 2000 from 1996 through 1997, past president, vice president and secretary for the Oregon Automobile Dealers Association from 1990 through 1993. He has held positions such as past president, vice president and secretary for the Metropolitan Portland Automobile Dealers Association from 1987 through 1990. Tonkin also served on the Oregon Attorney General's Motor Vehicle Task Force.
Active in his community, Tonkin has served as volunteer for the Start Making a Reader Today Organization from 1998 through 1999, board member of the Temple Beth Israel Congregation from 1995 through 2000. He served as a board member of the Portland Metropolitan Sports Authority from 1995 through 2000. He currently serves as a board member for Metropolitan Family Service and has been active on their board since 1997.
Peter L. Turek

Peter Turek is vice president, Automotive for TransUnion's U.S. Information Services (USIS) division. In this role, he is responsible for creating, updating and executing a comprehensive growth strategy for TransUnion's automotive segment.
Mr. Turek is a 20-year veteran of the company and has held numerous positions throughout the organization. Most recently he was vice president, strategic accounts for TransUnion's USIS division and prior to that he was a sales leader in the Chicago and mid-Atlantic divisions. He has played a key role in identifying companies and products that complement TransUnion's solutions in the marketplace. Before TransUnion, Turek was a credit manager with Citibank.
Mr. Turek received a Bachelor of Science in information systems from UMBC and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He was a board member of the Consumer Credit Counseling Services - Southeast Maryland chapter from 1996-1999 and a member of Junior Achievement and the Arthritis Foundation. Mr. Turek was previously in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1984-1992.

Stephen W. Wade, president of Stephen Wade Auto Center, St. George, Utah, represents Utah's franchised new-car dealers on the association's board of directors.
A new car-dealer and a NADA member since 1973, Wade is currently Chairman of the Industry Relations Committee. He also serves on the association's Dealership Operations Committee. Previously, he has served as NADA's region IV vice chairman and on the Policy and Bylaws, ATAE/NADA, Finance, and Government Relations committees. He also served as president of the Utah Automobile Dealers Association (UADA) in 1981.
Wade has owned more than 20 franchises throughout Utah and has served on numerous automotive factory committees, boards and associations. Currently, Wade's franchises include Chevrolet, Cadillac, Nissan, Mazda and a powerports store that includes Yamaha, Honda, Polaris and Suzuki.
Active in his community, Wade is presently chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dixie State College and founder of Sun Trust Bank of St. George. He also recently became the owner of Southern Utah's only TV station, KCSG. Wade has served as chairman of the Salt Lake County American Cancer Society and the State Chairman of the Utah American Cancer Society. He chaired special events of Utah's Federation for Drug Free Youth and was an alumni board member for the University of Utah. Wade also served in the National Guard from 1969 through 1975.

Marguerite has spent her career cultivating relationships within the auto finance arena and now works to share her experiences and connections to benefit clients and the industry. Marguerite's experience as an auto industry professional spans over twenty years. In 2006, she formed Connections Insights to focus on strategic partnering between auto finance sources and their business partners. She is also the Director of International Programs for the Automotive Dealership Institute.
Prior to forming Connections Insights, Marguerite managed the Auto Finance Practice at BenchMark Consulting International and the sales efforts at Equifax as SVP for the Automotive Division. At BarNone, a dealer marketing and non-prime financing company, Marguerite focused on building strategic partners for the company. Additionally, she spent ten years with Nissan North America and Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation in the U.S. and Japan.
Marguerite earned her BA from the University of California, Berkeley and her MBA from Pepperdine University. She serves on the American Financial Services Association (AFSA) Vehicle Finance Board and the Associate Member Advisory Board, serving as Chair from 2006-2009.Marguerite also sits on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the National Auto Finance (NAF) Association.

From 2006 through 2008, Bill was Chief Credit Officer at private student lender Education Finance Partners. His team implemented a new portfolio and collections management paradigm that reduced charge-off rates by 45% in the first nine months after implementation, and also developed a sophisticated multi-stage, multivariate originations model to vastly improve the ability to quantify the risk of private student loans.
Prior to entering the student loan arena, he spent 26 years at Ford Motor Credit Company where he was Director of Global Analytics and International Consumer Risk Management, with responsibilities related to the risk management of over $100 billion in consumer assets. He also served for two years as Senior Risk Officer at GE Capital Auto Financial Services.
Bill attended Pennsylvania State University and has degrees in Quantitative Business Analysis and Operations Research. He resides in Austin, Texas.

Peter is a 35-year veteran in the retail automotive area with experience in both England and the U.S. He currently serves as Partner and Executive Manager of the Orlando Infiniti and Dealer Principal of Aston Martin and Lotus of Orlando. Orlando Infiniti has been has been consistently ranked in the top 20% in total new car sales and within the top ten for Infiniti Certified pre-owned. This volume position is carried on with their parts and service operations as Orlando Infiniti fixed operations continues its benchmark performance year in and year out. A relative newcomer to the Aston Martin and Lotus franchises, opening their new state of the art dealership in October 2008, Aston Martin Orlando is currently ranked 7th in the country.
From 1995 - 1999, Peter was General Manager and Managing Partner of Don Mealey Infiniti in Orlando and served as Service Director in 1990 when the franchise opened. From 1982 - 1989, he served as Executive Director and Equity Partner, Saunders Abbott Mitsubishi in Beckenham, England.
